Solid wax oil Osmo Hartwachs-Öl semi-matt 0.75L

A wood finish that is free of stain, glossy to matt, uniquely combining the benefits of natural oils and waxes in one product. Osmo Hartwachs-Öl Original is resistant to dirt, water and wear. It smooths the surface. Compared to conventional finishes, the use of vegetable compounds creates a more even-toned and harmonious appearance. The single application - without primer or intermediate sanding - saves time and money. Suitable for wood; the microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinking. Resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk and water according to DIN 68861-1C - does not form water spots. Once dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals and plants. It is suitable for children's toys according to EN 71.3 (European standard) and is resistant to saliva and perspiration according to DIN 53160 (German industrial standard).

USE OF THE PRODUCT:

Apply a thin layer on a dry and clean surface in the direction of the fibres. Use an Osmo microfibre roller or natural bristle brush. After drying, apply a second thin coat. When restoring or resurfacing an already oiled surface, one coat on a clean and dry surface is usually sufficient.

APPROACH:

Finished surface in 2 days, 2 coats First coat on untreated sanded wood approx. 35 ml/m². Errors in wet coatings can be corrected within 30 minutes after the first application. Drying time approx. 8-10 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23 °C/50 % RH). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity may increase the drying time. Ensure good ventilation. If desired, the surface can be sanded between coats with fine grit sandpaper (P400) or Scotch pad. Second coat approx. 35 ml/m². Drying time approx. 8-10 hours; see point 3.

COMPONENTS:

Based on natural vegetable oils and waxes (sunflower oil, soya oil, safflower oil, carnauba wax and candelilla wax), paraffin, siccatives (drying additives) and water-repellent additives. Dearomatised white spirit (benzene-free). The product complies with the EU Regulation (2004/42/EC) according to the VOC content max. 500 g/l (Cat. A/i (2010)). DYING TIME:

Approx. 8-10 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23 °C/50 % RH). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity may increase drying time. Ensure good ventilation during drying. After 2-3 weeks, the surface is complete and fully cured.
