Adhesive vinyl flooring is usually chosen for larger rooms, or even for an entire floor or apartment, or if it is applied to underfloor heating. This is due to the lower price of adhesive vinyl flooring compared to the same "click" vinyl flooring, and the fact that glued vinyl flooring does not require expansion joints between rooms. Glued vinyl is also completely safe against any movement that may be caused by it warming up in the sun or as a result of underfloor heating. In addition, the adhesive installation provides the lowest thermal resistance, which reduces heating costs. The only requirement is a level subfloor. By the way, vinyl flooring is not only glued in the usual way, i.e. with adhesive to the substrate. Exactly the same result can be achieved using self-adhesive underlay.
